A collection of everything that makes life tasty. Welmoed Bezoen is a cookbook author, recipe developer and columnist. She shows you how to put a delicious meal on the table in record time, teaching you all the tips, tricks and cooking techniques that she uses every day.
where it all started
Of course this project had to start at Welmoed's dinner table. Here we tasted a fine selection of her first book's recipes. We needed to translate this explosions of flavor into a cookbook, showcasing her bright and poppy character and her dedication to bring interesting flavors to every dinner table.
concept & creative
The cookbook needed to be as creatively-fluid as her way of working. Inspiring readers to get creative in their kitchen and think out of the box of flavor combinations. Typography can slightly be seen dancing off-grid in some titles and the colorful collages show Welmoed's love for sixties design. Perfectly accompanying the sunny saturated food pictures by Anker van Warmerdam.
We got inspired to mix traditional 60’s (cookbook) esthetic with a clean and personal design. The fluid page grid is open for different fitting page approaches, whilst being a useful and clean cookbook.
